Tagara builds regional reputation
Long known for residential building, Tagara Group is growing into commercial construction, this year completing the company’s first high-rise CBD project on time and on budget with minimal defects and a satisfied customer.
Tagara MD, Tullio ‘Tag’ Tagliaferri also reports that under the Federal Government’s Building Education Revolution program, his group has been allocated 24 school building projects.
Tagara marked its 17th birthday on 3 August. Founded in metropolitan Adelaide, the group is enjoying growth and acceptance in the Upper Spencer Gulf region, where Tagara Builders employs seven local staff members.
Tag credits continual professional and personal development of staff and management for enabling the group to grow across regions and building sectors. There was also significant software help.
“(We developed) a Construction Industry specific Project Management software package to assist us in achieving and meeting our mission statement of being the most professional quality builder in South Australia,” Tag says. He says rigorous Quality Management systems have been developed to deliver the quality product and service clients expect, continually.
Rather than make a knee-jerk reaction to failing economic conditions, Tagara opted for market analysis.
