NEW SENIOR APPOINTMENTS AT PHILMAC
Australian valve and fittings manufacturer Philmac has made a number of senior appointments as the company continues its Australian and international growth.
Chris Stathy has been appointed Marketing and Sales Director, with overall responsibility for key aspects of Philmac’s development.
Following the retirement of long—standing Philmac executive, Frank Middleton, Mal Brown has taken up the position of National Sales Manager – Philmac Australia.
Meanwhile, David Lowe’s has added the Product Development responsibility to his role as Operations Director.
Philmac Managing Director, Paul Haysman said the senior management changes would help the company keep up “the positive momentum that had been built up over the past several years”.
MICHELL AUSTRALIA APPOINTS NEW DIRECTOR
Australia’s largest exporter and processor of Australian wool and leather, Michell Australia, has appointed Ron McNeilly to its Board of Directors.
Based in Melbourne, Mr McNeilly is currently the Deputy Chairman Elect of BHP Steel Ltd and was a member of the BHP Board from 1991 to 2001. He has served as a Senior Executive with BHP for the past 40 years and has previously been a Director of QCT Resources Ltd and Tubemakers of Aust Ltd. Mr McNeilly is Chairman of the Melbourne Business School Board and a Director of the Melbourne Storm Football Club.
