eventspool.com Encouraging Participation
Free online events listing and search service, Eventspool.com made a splash in Rundle Mall at its launch in March.
Eventspool.com combines events information of every kind in a searchable database with an online box office, making it possible for even the smallest event to be listed and offer secure online ticket sales if desired. The site will also offer online course content from Flinders University’s certificates in event management.
Doug Jacquier, CEO of eventspool.com developer Community Information Strategies Australia (CISA), says the aim is to create a central, authoritative source for all event information of interest to South Australians. “If you are thinking of hosting or attending an event of any kind you should visit eventspool.com,” says Doug. “It could be a rock concert or a chess tournament, a yoga retreat or a dance recital. You can visit the site to ensure your event doesn’t clash with others and to create synergies between events.”
