How to choose commercial property

There has never been a better time for South Australian businesses to negotiate commercial property leasing arrangements, Jones Lang LaSalle says.
An excess of available commercial space across Adelaide has created tenant-friendly market conditions.
JLL Commercial Leasing Associate Director Tom Budarick says the plentiful space available at the moment will not last for long.
“Do deals now because there is some space in the market which is fitted out and ready to occupy, so it is an ideal time for tenants,” he says.
Tom says businesses should assess their needs before moving offices to ensure the new office space suits them for the long term.
“Ask yourself about how you want to work, how you want different areas of the company to interact; consider the type of activities you undertake and where you want to be located,” he says.
A change in business size was the most common reason for businesses to move location.
