Mentors make it go
Mentors: they are essential to the in-business Young Business Leaders program and they come from a range of organisations and industries to volunteer their time and expertise to help aspiring young South Australian leaders.
The role of the YBL mentor is to provide objective and friendly advice to their matched young person, and to share general knowledge and expertise relating to the workplace, leadership and interpersonal skills.
Raelene Scott, Head of HR for Capgemini has been a YBL mentor for the past 13 years. Raelene first became involved with the YBL program when she was approached to be a workplace sponsor or mentor for the program. She became both, and has sponsored three participants.
