The King’s SA dedication

Given South Australia’s abundance of high quality, fresh and locally available produce and beverages it’s no wonder the renovated and re-named The Kings has developed an SA-only theme.
New owners, Gareth Lewis and Justin Kelly purchased the former Kings Head Hotel on King William Street in August 2008 and re-launched the pub in February with an interior facelift, new logo and name, and a point of difference: SA-only beverages and food policy.
Justin and Gareth developed the concept a year before a suitable venue became available, and is based on a similar concept they spotted in Melbourne.
While the idea of using only locally sourced food products is not unique, the partners have extended the theme to the beverages side of the business; all beverages they stock come from local wineries and mostly unknown micro-breweries.
