New Year resolutions set worthy goals

New Year’s resolutions are just as important for business as they are for personal goals in 2010, accounting and financial services firm HLB Mann Judd says.

HLB Mann Judd Managing Partner Steven Toth says the New Year is an opportune time to reflect and review processes and systems in any SME.

“Business owners who take the time to look at what they want to achieve in 2010 will see the benefit to the company, staff and day-to-day operations,” Steven says. There are five main goals business owners should consider.

“Review the succession plan for the business, and consider establishing one if you do not already have something outlined,” Steven says. “It is important to ensure the plan is still relevant to the path you envisage taking. If not, it is time to review what needs to be done.
