Roberts to set new pace for ICAA
The Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia has appointed Todd Roberts FCA as Chairman to the Institute’s South Australia and Northern Territory State Council.
As Chairman, Todd will focus on growing ICAA services in SA and the NT while continuing to liaise with State and Federal governments on industry-related issues and work closely with universities to promote the Chartered Accountants program to students.
“Federally, the priorities are the Henry review on taxation, the Cooper review on Superannuation, the Audit clarity project, the upcoming Federal Budget and Differential Reporting,” Todd says.
“At State level the priorities are State taxes and economic development.”
ICAA South Australia and Northern Territory General Manager, Mark Jones says Todd’s long-standing membership with ICAA and experience in the industry would add valuable insight into Council deliberations.
