Flex model takes care of regions
Flex Rehabilitation Clinic is taking elite sports methodology to the wider South Australian public in a business model that engages aged care facilities as well as national representative sides.
The Clinic employs about 17 full time equivalent staff at two metropolitan sites with a program afoot to develop operating bases in aged care and regional locations
Director, Scott Smith says the practice, which turns over about $1.78million, is based on three basic areas of practice.
“Our most productive services are those that relate specifically to our core business, that is Physiotherapy, Massage and Pilates,” Scott says.
“All three areas have shown consistently strong growth. Our low staff turnover coupled with significant investment in continuing education has ensured our core principle of focusing on individualised, evidence-based care is met.”
Scott and his wife Louise, who manages the practice, bought Southside Manipulative Physiotherapy 10 years ago and opened rooms on Kensington Road, Norwood under the new brand, Flex in 2006.
