New book gives Dale a flying start
South Australian motivational speaker, Dale Elliott has a new book out - against his own inclination.
“I didn’t really want to write a book,” Dale says. “I’m too busy. But I speak a lot and too often people have been coming up to me after and asking for something to take away, asking ‘Do you have a book or something’?”
Dale, a dynamic man, was living his dream of flight as a commercial pilot and aircraft engineer before a motorcycle accident rendered him paraplegic. His book, Can’t Walk Can Fly tells his story about ‘going further’ than before tragedy struck.
His story, he finds, gets in the way of his message in a 40 minute speaking slot.
“Now I can say, if you want to know the full story, here – it’s in the book,” he says.
Dale’s mission among business people is to teach them how to present themselves to the market and the world.
