Business and corporate boost at Phillips Fox
Leading commercial law firm Phillips Fox continues to grow its Business & Corporate team with the appointment of solicitors, Ms Paula Timpano—Zito, Mr Joseph Glatter and Ms Jackie Su to the firm’s Adelaide office.
Paula joins Phillips Fox from Minter Ellison’s Corporate, Commercial and Energy group and specialises in commercial transactions, mergers and acquisitions, trade practices compliance, intellectual property and wine law.
Joseph, formerly an Assistant Director with the Department of Defence, has been working in the area of major contracts with Defence Materiel Organisation and specialises in complex procurements from tender development through to contract negotiation and execution.
Jackie joins Phillips Fox from Rankines Solicitors and has expertise in the area of tax and general commercial transactions.
These three latest appointments bring the size of Phillips Fox’s Adelaide Business & Corporate team to 12 legal practitioners.
EDS global and regional appointments in SA
EDS has appointed South Australian executives to two key international positions in a new global alignment that emphasises the company’s vast software development resources.
Adelaide—based Scott Ayer has been appointed President, Application Services, Asia Pacific and Global Competitive Delivery Centres, taking charge of a network of 13 globally competitive software development centres.
Scott, who joined EDS in 1998, has held a variety of roles including regional director of Asia Pacific Solution Centres, client delivery executive for South Australia and Victoria and account executive for the SA Government account.
Adelaide—based Trish Callaghan has a new Asia Pacific role, becoming manager, Asia Pacific, service line support. Trish was the head of marketing and business planning for EDS Information Solutions in Australia/New Zealand. She will overse...
