International Business Week celebrates record turnover
South Australia’s key export event, International Business Week, will be held over two weeks this year to accommodate a record number of seminars and conferences.
More than 40 separate events have been organised for UniSA IBW 2002, which begin on August 5 with a week-long regional program, and end on August 16 after a week of events in Adelaide.
Michael Chant, chairman of the IBW organising committee and until recently, serving as executive director of the Australian Institute of Export in South Australia, said IBW was now Australia’s principal export event.
“South Australian industry has been performing exceptionally well on the international stage in recent years and there is a clear intention to keep that momentum going,” Mr Chant said.
“Interest and support for IBW continues to grow every year and we are now at the stage where we need to run the program over two weeks.
