Savant to manage Colonnades Redevelopment
Adelaide-based project management group Savant will oversee a major redevelopment of the Colonnades Shopping Centre, south of Adelaide, due to get underway this year.
The $35 million project, announced this week by Colonnades owner AMP, involves the addition of approximately 16,000 square metres of shopping space, including a supermarket, department store and 40 speciality outlets.
The redevelopment, over two floors, also includes additional carparking.
Savant Director, Mr Campbell Mackie, said Savant and Melbourne-based project management group CMR Consultants had benefited from the strength of a strategic alliance to bid for the project.
“Savant and CMR are working together on a number of projects around Australia,” he said.
“By combining our strengths, we were able to present an attractive package to AMP against strong opposition.”
