CBB gives nonprofits sharp business advice
Community Business Bureau, an advisory organisation that helps community services organisations sharpen up their business practices, is the only organisation of its type in Australia.
Founded in Adelaide in 1995, CBB has its head office here but operates Australia-wide with more than 10,000 individual and organisational clients in all States & Territories.
“We are a self-funding social enterprise and not-for-profit – we operate as a business with social objectives and values,” says CEO, Michael Dawson.
Michael has significant NFP and commercial sector background and his role is to build linkages between the NFP and commerce worlds. The aim is to build NFP capability and capacity to achieve their social objectives and face business challenges.
