BioSA to run IP protection support
South Australia’s biotech peak body, BioSA will coordinate a State-funded $1 million initiative over three years to help SA’s three main universities seek patent protection for their intellectual property.
SA Science and Information Economy Minister, Tom Kenyon says the funding though BioSA will provide grants to the universities’ commercialisation offices - Adelaide Research and Innovation (University of Adelaide), ITEK (UniSA) and Flinders Partners (Flinders University).
