Learn from the Masters of Self-Defence
This year’s Safe Work Week will have a real ‘kick’ to it as it lives up to its theme of ‘Learn from the Masters of Self Defence’.
Several high-profile speakers are taking part, including internationally-recognised Paul Kells, founder of the Safe Communities Foundation of Canada, Professor Ian Hickie from the national depression initiative, beyondblue and Dr Andrew Hopkins, author of ‘Lessons from Longford: The Esso Gas Plant’.
Safe Work Week, coordinated by WorkCover Corporation, is the State’s major workplace health and safety event, which runs from 11-15 November.
