ARRM Wins Top Electronic Award
The 2002 Electronic Industry Association Gold Cup for all-round excellence in engineering and commercialisation went to Advanced Rapid Robotics Manufacturing’s fully automated grape quality analyser.
ARRM will launch its new system at the Second National Wine Industry Environment Conference and Exhibition 2002 (WIEC ’02) and hopes to “change the face of grape quality determination in the viticulture industry by providing increased sample throughput, reproducibility of test results and a high level of result integrity”. The machine, designed in conjunction with the Australian Wine Research Institute at Urrbrae, crushes the grape sample, centrifuges and analyses essential characteristics in a fraction of the time formerly required and with extraordinary accuracy.
ARRM also took out the EIA Export Excellence Award for the extraordinary success of their medical laboratory robotic analysis systems; more than 80% of all robot equipment production is e...
