Adelaide Company Develops Advanced Manufacturing Technology for World Markets
Adelaide based company, Camms Pty Ltd, has launched new technology which has been recognised as the next generation for advances in manufacturing performance and is expected to open up international and national markets for South Australia.
The technology, which assists manufacturers to uncover hidden opportunities and improve profitability in their production processes, has already been successfully adopted by major Adelaide-based national manufacturers including BRL Hardy, Adelaide Brighton Cement and Cooper’s Brewery.
Camms was recently named as the winner of the Cisco Systems Innovation Category of the 2002 Telstra South Australian Government Small Business Awards for the technology.
Camms Chief Executive, Sean Ebert, said they’d made a substantial investment and spent more than two years in research and development to create the software technology which has leveraged off their almost 20 years of experience with manufacturers.
